Tangerine (Citrus Reticulata)

It is also known as the mandarin orange, one of the distinct species of orange. This fruit group of orange-colored citrus fruit consists of hybrids of mandarin orange with some pomelo contribution.

Fruit is round, flat on top and bottom. Upright and vigorous growth, med-size tree. Alternate bearing. Good dooryard variety. Cold hardy.

Tangelo (Mandarin [Tangerine] × Grapefruit) Citrus × Tangelo

It is a hybrid cross between a tangerine and a grapefruit.

Orlando Duncan grapefruit × Dancy tangerineNov – JanVaries 0 – 35Large 2¾” – 3”Very juicy, heavy bearer. Rind adheres to flesh, making it difficult to peel and oily. The foliage has a distinctive cupped appearance. Sweet but not like Minneola. Cold hardy.
